The time is here to introduce a design I’ve been so excited to share! Amanda’s brand new primary bedroom is finally complete and I’m here to give you all the details...

We started putting ideas together for Amanda’s room and I built out mood boards so we could play with options and see where the energy wanted to go. [DM me if you’d like any of the links xo.
If you read my last post, you know her room was already gorgeous… but the vibes just weren’t vibing, and change was in the air… We wanted a refresh that felt layered, a little bolder, and full of new life. The updates: new bedding, thoughtful accessories, fresh lighting, and art with intention, gave them exactly that. Both Amanda and her partner are loving the transformation and are enjoying their sanctuary even more than ever. What do you think? I’d love to hear your comments.
Here’s where it gets fun: I’m showing you three options for many of the choices we made. Over on Instagram, Amanda and I are running a design-guessing game where one lucky winner will receive a 90-minute session with yours truly + a signed copy of Simple Shui for Everyday by Amanda Gibby Peters.
Let’s get started…
Bedding…
For Amanda linen was a must, I love the way it brings in that bubbling Wood element no matter the color. We also wanted a contrasting combination that would look great against the new Cinnamon Slate walls. Which one do you think she chose?

Non-linen versions linked too if linen isn’t your thing… 1. Terracotta Bedding + Similar, Pink sheets + similar
2. Merlot Duvet + similar, Lavender sheets + similar 3. Hunter green duvet + similar , yellow sheets and let’s not forget that gorgeous double console…

Nightstands…
A Shui bedroom staple- matching nightstands add balance and support. Things I always check:
Height: right for your bed, not too low or high
Size: enough for what you want to store but not too big
Poison Arrows: no sharp corners pointing at you while you sleep
So… Which of these did she chose?

1. Black nightstand with leather handles also available in a smaller size 2. Rounded wood nightstand available in a couple other colors and sizes 3. Colorful curved nightstand (currently unavailable) + similar.

Lighting…
Lighting changes everything and is always one of the most important considerations in any room… Layering lighting is always a good idea - that way you never have to use “the big light.” We swapped sconces at the bed and added a reading lamp by the sofa. Which set do you think we went with?

1. Beaded Floor Lamp + Sunburst Sconce 2. Armed Sconce + similar, Lampshade, Gold Floor Lamp. 3. Wood Accent Floor Lamp + Ceramic Sconce

Accessorizing the bed…
Pillows = instant personality. Each of these plush combos bring more variety and flavor to the room. Which of the three in the running do you think was the winner?

1. Orange quilted pillows, Floral tapestry pillows, Black lumbar 2. Yellow Pillows, Long lumbar, Embroidered black pillow 3. White pillows, Green velvet pillows + similar, Leopard lumbar pillow. Plus double console

Art…
Amanda wanted new pieces above the bed and around the room. With Feng Shui, art isn’t just decoration… it’s symbolism. Art is also deeply personal and context is everything. I always ask: What does a specific piece it mean to you? How does it feel? Does it match your intention for the space? So which combo works here?

1. Architectural print, Cloud Art Printable 2. Pastoral Landscape, Abstract Painting 3. Crystal print, European Coast print
So there you have it… which combo do you think won out? Stay tuned for the reveal + the giveaway winner announcement on Instagram. Until then scroll, vote, enjoy.
