Feng Shui is not just about design, but it can be an important part of it. I use design to balance the energy of a space and harmonized to meet the needs of my clients. Whether I am working with an existing space or designing from scratch, the first question on my mind is: What does the Shui say?
How is the space speaking and what can be done to give it what it needs to fulfill my client’s needs?
Welcome to Shui and Tell. This series will introduce you to the Feng Shui principles behind many design elements. These examinations are not judgment-based and do not indicate “good” or “bad” Feng Shui. I will point out the unique energy that can be harnessed or lessened through the use or dampening of each design element.
Holistic design and House Therapy is all about that Chi… all about that energy flow, getting it moving the way you want. I view Chi like a welcome guest - invite them in and ask them to stay a while. Entice them with visual candy throughout your space, interact with them by showing them who you are throughout your home, and intrigue them to be curious about what’s around each corner or doorway.
If you are looking for the “right” Shui for your space, look inward and ask yourself what feels right to you. I like to say I don’t design for trends, I design for energy. This series explains some of what that means…
I’m excited to share this with you and hear about how it helps you balance your space… see you soon!
