Dear friend,
Thanks for following along with me here. Welcome to my love letters... As a little thank you to my paid subscribers you are receiving this letter a day before the rest… so if you love something pounce.
This one is an ode to old world elegance. The theme popped up after my husband and I were unexpectedly upgraded to the Penthouse Suite on a quick night away (short trip, big life upgrade, alllll the gratitude!). We had so much fun walking into the space and realizing how enormous it was - literally larger than our home with an upstairs and access to the roof… crazy!
This suite had been where Clark Gable and Carole Lombard lived in the 1930s, and it had been recently redesigned a couple of years back to restore much of the original character. Gorgeous dark wood curving walls, parquet flooring, marble showers and soooo much romance. The velvet couches couldn’t have been more luxurious, we concluded our evening eating minibar nuts out of a giant crystal ashtray… très chic (or très trash-ay perhaps)…
This collection is an ode to that room, that night and old Hollywood.
Spring… (yes, we're still here for a minute) lives in the Abundance Gua (aka Wealth Gua… everyone's fave). A little gold, a little glam, rich textures, all the drama. Bring on the money, baybay…

The Goods…
Give me ALL the marble! If I can’t have a slab on every wall of my bathroom at least I can have this tray… the stripes… chef’s kiss.
Old Hollywood in a single piece… imagine your entire personality becoming this chair. This showstopper makes the room and maybe the entire home…
Yellow Cut Glass Ashtray - $25
The perfect little trinket dish.
Use this convex baddie for a little Shui magic along with a punch of style… just ask AGP about the power of mirrors!
This sweet little table could live just about anywhere.
A touch of old world opulence - throw this on couch, a bed or fancify a dining nook.
Looks like there should be someone smoking a pipe and reading a paper in this spot…
Not quite the same but I liked this lamp in the mix… gives a funky 80s vibe.
A Happy Little Footstool - $115
Put your feet up, stay awhile…

That’s a wrap… do these pieces say old Hollywood to you?

Got a theme idea? Drop it in the comments — Analog Summer? Victorian Moody? Coastal Grandma? ‘70s sunken living room? (the suite had that too!!)… I’m open to anything.
See you next time…
xo Abby
PS — Anyone else have an awesome upgrade story?! I couldn’t even believe that suite existed (still pinching myself)!
And because you have to see it to believe it…
